This weekend we celebrate Bookfest – Spring 2024, starting April 6th at 10:30. With events featuring prominent authors, literary luminaries, celebrity guests, keynote speakers, thought leaders, and publishing professionals, there is a lot to enjoy for fans and authors of all genres of books.
Guinea Pig Power is a cute little story about two guinea pigs who lead a secret life at night. By day they are cute little guinea pigs but by night they are superheroes flying around in their cute little costumes saving the world the best way they know how.
Guinea Pig Power is a very entertaining read that any child is sure to enjoy. I think adults will enjoy their story as well. I know I did.
The illustrations were done well. They helped to make the story more enjoyable. They also help to make the story come alive.

Review: Meet Fuzwald and Rex, two pets you could hold. The guinea pigs reminded me of Ren and Stimpy. So cute and funny. By day, they were just regular guinea pigs. But, by night, they were super pigs. Whoa! This is their story of how it all began.
The rhymes were cute and the doodles were even cuter.
If you like how the Ninja Turtles started, you’ll enjoy these super rascals.

Immerse yourself in a tale of superheroes unlike any other with Ben St. James’ Guinea Pig Power. The story follows two cute little guinea pigs, Fuxwald and Rex. These two live blissful lives in their cozy little cage and seem just like other sweet guinea pigs. However, Fuxwald and Rex share a secret. After their mom tucks them in safe and sound each night, the two friends leave their cage, don capes, and venture into the night to do their duty as superheroes. You see, they have superpowers that they acquired after snacking on a special lab-made treat. Now they use those powers to fight crime, rescue kittens from trees, and stop angry squirrels from brawling. Afterward, they return home for a well-earned sleep.

I loved “Guinea Pig Power” by Ben St. James! I wish there was also a printed version! Sorry, I needed to get that out of my system… I will tell you more about the book. The adventure begins when two adorable pet guinea pigs living the life in their forever home get fed ‘Guinea Pig Power Chow’ one day, and they get transformed. They go from little guinea pigs by day to big and famous superheroes by night!
